I’m Blair Trent and I was running for Charlotte County Commonwealth’s Attorney. Election day has come and gone, and I will not be serving as Charlotte County's Commonwealth's Attorney. However, there will be another election in 2027 for the same position and I am keeping my options open as far as whether or not I will run again. I still believe I am the best candidate for this position.
As your Commonwealth’s Attorney, I planned to serve our community through restoring faith in our justice system and bringing accountability to law breakers in Charlotte. As a full-time resident, I am knowledgeable of the challenges in our county. As a mother, I am deeply invested in the future of our county and working for the right outcomes.
My impartial approach ensures that justice is served fairly—without political influence or outside agendas. I am committed to protecting and strengthening the community by ensuring safety and fairness for all. With a proven track record, I have never lost a jury trial as a prosecutor, demonstrating the toughness and skill needed to hold criminals accountable.
Our community deserves a Commonwealth’s Attorney who is invested in the future of Charlotte County. Our small community is built on relationships and shared values, and as your Commonwealth's Attorney, I will defend those values. I invite you to learn more about me in the coming months. Please reach out through social media or you can email me at blair4charlotte@gmail.com.
When not in court, you can find me volunteering at church, women's club, fire department auxiliary, PTO, bar association, or at a t-ball game. Go Wylliesburg!
Charlotte County should not and will not be a catch and release program if I am the Commonwealth's Attorney.
